I'M LEAVING IT HERE SIMPLY SO YOU CAN IDENTIFY AND PERHAPS RELATE, BUT AFTER THAT....LET'S GET MOVING ON!  WE DON'T WANT OUR PAST TO DEFINE OUR FUTURE. WE WANT TO CREATE IT - NOW - IN THE PRESENT MOMENT - SO, JUST STOP IT! SNAP OUT OF IT!

FIRST - A BRIEF PEEK AT MY STORY

​

I know how it feels.

 

By the time I was 28, I had already lived in 7 different states, had numerous jobs, had been supporting myself since age 19, put myself through college, experienced a layoff and a "your fired", was married, and later surprised with a divorce. - Sound familiar to anyone?

​

Didn't stop there.

​

The next 25 years, provided another major move across country to another state, 3 local area moves, more jobs, 3 more layoffs due to downsizing, job vs. passion heartaches, stops and starts, a home fire, broken ankle and many ongoing paths of ups and downs with personal matters and goals, family issues, aging parents and passing of  loved ones. - We all go through things.

​

Surprises, stops, starts and transitions never stop.

​

This is life as we know it. Very unpredictable. Resilience, perseverance and healing is the adventure and if you suffer from defeat, being tired or have no motivation- cuz after 50....I get it.....YOU NEED SUPPORT to get back up and moving. It's okay to ask for help. WE all need it.

Old familiar ways not working anymore leaving you frustrated, angry or depressed?

Today's world is changing at rapid speeds and the systems we knew to work are breaking down leaving us to squander and often feel left behind, perplexed, feeling "what's wrong with me?" or just angry. Maturity also brings change. Life is not over till it's over, so I say, find a new way.  Conquer fear with the right perspective, confidence and ingenuity. You can do it!

I help you identify and keep your over-thinking mind accountable while finding ways to relax and take it easy on yourself. Most importantly, I help you keep fun, laughter and playfulness around you to keep moving forward (not stuck in the head), honoring your personal drive.

Creative, self-motivated, over-thinking individuals can get bottled up and an overdrive pushing through their goals, but when that happens, we get sloppy, neurotic, we don't take care of ourselves and we can make ourselves sick. It's good to keep a balance of movement, nature, laughter and fun!

Do you have too many interests and don't know how to pull it all together?

K.I.S.S.  Keep it Simple!  You can't help it if you have a lot of interests, but not everything is what will best serve you in your business and life. Learn to identify and prioritize what's good for business and what's good for your life.

Transitions are a fact of life, expected or unexpected. Developing resiliency to the unexpected is so valuable to your health and well-being. How it happens varies differently for each individual. WHY I COACH

I offer this service because it's my story. I know how it feels to be knocked off my horse and having to get back up and find my way again (over and over).  Life has not gone A, B, C for me, yet I continue to have a drive to find my way. I have not been handed a silver spoon either. I've worked hard, just like you. To continue to learn, seek and discover and to create my life the way that is right for ME. Not an easy task in a world that makes you conform and stay numb. We all have to go through hoops we don't enjoy. We have relationship issues along the way, career snafus, let downs and health fluctuations. In addition to coaching methods, I am your biggest supporter to not give up. To be good to yourself and to nurture you dream and/or ability to navigate in uncharted territories. You are not alone.  I can share with you what I do to keep myself in balance and the tools I've explored along the way of my own journey. To heal when down and wounded. To "go for it" when your strong and focused and to be okay when you have to sit back and nurture silence time so that you stay grounded and become re-centered. This is not a race. It's YOUR life, YOUR ADVENTURE. You were born to live it well and to share your gifts. I am your biggest supporter to not only stay on your path but live it well and with a lot of fun and lots of laughter!  YOU GOT THIS!

MY TRAINING

Life is my best trainer having been on the rollercoaster of life for over 50 years.

​

I am a Holistic Health Coach certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, have a B.A in Exercise Science,  and certifications with CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach, NASM and ACE personal trainer, Nia Technique and HoopnoticaFit Instructor. I am also a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader. In addition, I have a corporate background of over 30 years in a wide variety of industries, non-profit and, of course, entrepreneurialism. HOW I ROLL

Through encouragement and creating a road map that follows joy, sensibility, creativity and self-compassion, together, we develop an action plan that is supportive, self-empowering and action-oriented so that you get unstuck and creative positive movement again.  Humor + compassion + discipline. Work hard but also play!  We can even take our session outdoors in nature on a hike or join me rollerskating in Central Park, if that's where it leads, because,  that's how I roll.  Make it your coaching adventure!

KEEPING IT REAL

Self-responsibility and commitment is key. I am simply your cheerleader and guide to help you find and/or reawaken your instincts and what inspires you to move forward.  I also don't require you to purchase packages of sessions. I know how it can be financially. Also, sometimes, all you need is a quick kick in the pants to get unstuck. I love self-initiators and determined individuals, but sometimes, they get burned out, too, and simply need a quick reminder or a time-out with someone supportive who they can talk to.

 

WHY A COACH?

We all need extra support from time to time as we lose our way, get side-tracked by surprises or lose sight of our own well-being due to falling into survival mode. Having supportive friends and family can help you but they may not always be able or available. That's why having a coach is valuable.

A Holistic Health Coach is your guide, not a therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist. Coaching is a partnership towards your optimal health and well-being. It’s a collaborative approach to unearth underlying or apparent issues that are getting in the way of you feeling well and happy. The process is holistic which requires looking at overall health in all areas of life, listening to what is desired and/or determined as being needed, creating action plans to support newfound goals and making you accountable in order to stay in integrity with yourself. Since each individual is unique, so is the program. A coach also has resources that can help you along your personal journey, but the path is ultimately yours. A coach is in your corner for you to succeed, to be happy and to reach your potential.
